- The Scb-1020 Is An Asynchronous/Synchronous Connuication Card. It Contains The Upd7201a Multi-Protocol Serial Communicatin Controller To Perform Data Transfer Up To 256 Kbaud. The Scb-1020 Supports Asynchronous Bit And Bytle Oriented Protocols. The Synchronous Protocols May Be Applied To Monosync And Bisync As Well As Hdlc And Sdlc Opertion. The Rs-232 Signals Are Interfaced To External Devive Via A D-25 Connectorwhich Provides Shielding Against Environmental Noise.Other Characteristics Of The Scb-1020 Include Jumper Selectable Dma Request (Channels 1 &3) And Jumper Selectable Interrupt Requests (Irq2-Irq70). The Scb-1020 Contains Switch Selectable Addressing To Avoid Conflicts With Other Devices In The Computer. Programmable On-Board Clocks Provide Data Rates For The Upd7201a
